Why did we do it?

Season Two, Act Four

First off, the ever growing affection between the puddlebox and John. You ask why? We say "hell, why not?" It's cute and you have to agree that Sheppard does have some kind of "connection" with the puddlejumper...

The wraithopus. This is entirely my (Seanait) fault. The story goes like this: me and Nightpheonix were doing yard work, not terribly exciting, but hey. While raking, I thinking about how Wraith became the Wraith. The whole human and Aritus bug thing. I think somewhere it was mentioned that the Aritus came from the water? I don't know, but I said what if the Aritus bug went underwater and started sucking on octopii. Scary enough. Then I said, well what if then they followed the Wraith evolution and started sucking on humans for food! Then they'd become bad ass human-sucking octopii! So when I wrote Act Four, the whole octopus-wraith thing came back and they became the feared Wrathopii. An act of pure sillyness it was, but funny, right?

The Evolution of Wraithal Politics

I shall explain to you now. Since many of you didn't seem to understand what on Earth (or in Pegasus) we were babbling about, please pay attention.

The Evolution of Wraithal Politics has a certain throwback to U.S. history and the evolution of America. We tried to make the beginning all haughty and such, like it would be written by a Wraith historian. Please note the dates listed for the battles and the names. First, the Battle of Ona and Sodana (177504.19). In true history, on 04/19/1775, the battle of Lexington and Concord took place. Note the similarities. We realized that not all of our readers are American... but still.

The biggest giveaway to the history of Wraithal politics is the fight for independence against the SwiftKill Hive. The patriots are the QuickHunt Hive. Therefore, the British are the SwiftKill Hive and the Americans are portrayed by the QuickHunt Hive.

Why'd we do it? It was cute and kinda funny. Someone was slightly confused by all the acronyms (apparently didn't read the other Musicals), so we decided to share a little "history" to clear up things. I guess we just confused everybody... sorry.
